Our Druzy Dragon Eggs (also known as Septarian nodules) are in need of a new nest. Although not real eggs of course, these geological curiosities are just as interesting. Naturally formed 50 to 70 million years ago, simple bentonite clay balls became filled with mineral crystals as a result of volcanic eruptions. The result are beautifully veined stones which are polished and cracked open to reveal glittering black aragonite flecked with calcite crystals.
