The dining table is more than just a place to have a meal - it is often a home's grand central station. The dining table functions as an office space, a homework area, and for a lot of us, a magnet for the daily clutter. But most importantly we believe that the dining table functions as an anchor for the family. A gathering place where we all come together to enjoy food, drinks, and company.

With the holidays approaching, we're showcasing some of our favorite dining collections in celebration of gathering together.

Carmel Collection

One of our customer favorites is the Carmel Dining Collection. With its solid live edge wood and natural design, it's perfect for a home with furry family members.

The Carmel Dining Table and Carmel Dining Benches are inspired by the sun bleached California coast line, featuring organic burls and knots from the Acacia tree. Special thanks to Vegan food blogger Raepublic for giving us a peek inside her home with her new dining table and benches (and new pup Shadow!)

Dining benches have been trending lately over the classic dining chair. One of our favorite aspects of having dining benches over dining chairs is that they remove the divide between people at the table, allowing folks to get cozy. Sitting shoulder to shoulder adds energy and joy when sitting next to the people (and pets) we love.

London Loft Collection

Continuing in the same live edge style, the London Loft Collection adds another layer in its finish, with the dark walnut color creating a warm and inviting atmosphere as the coldest days of the year approach.

Interior Design and Photo by York and Rose Interiors

For a friend who loves boho style, Portland interior designer York & Rose used old with new, plush seating, oriental rugs, and saturated colors to create a "formal" living and dining room with a relaxed feel. The vision was to incorporate natural elements into the space - Water, Wood, Earth, Fire + Metal either in shape, material, or color. They chose the London Loft Dining Table and London Loft Bench because of the mix of live edge wood with an iron base, combining wood and metal elements. The designer paired the table with our Leather Pullman Chairs to create a more refined, rustic feel to the dining area.

Metro Havana Collection

We've been loving the Metro Havana Collection for a more modern, urban farmhouse look. The clean lines of the wood grain and the single white board mixed in give this collection a distinct and eye-catching look.

Tropical Salvage Collection

What we love the most about every product in our Tropical Wood Collection is that each piece is sustainably constructed from salvaged and reclaimed wood. This tropical wood furniture line is made from wood salvaged from rivers in Java and Borneo that was cast-off during wasteful lumber harvests.
