This December we are opening a new warehouse/showroom in the Pearl District of downtown Portland, just across the river from our other store location. The new building is pretty special, and just like our vintage-inspired decor is a little old- but we’re giving it a new life!
This historic brick building, circa 1906, is more than a bit unique. The incredible brick walls and wood floors have character and history that represent the culture of our favorite neighborhood. We love the quality and richness of the design, craftsmanship, and materials- like the tall ceilings and wood beams running across, thus, the inspiration for City Home.
We see this space as being the perfect setting for new velvet tufted couches, vintage inspired leather chairs, unique patterned rugs, and reclaimed wood pieces. And we’re excited to bring some new friends along for this adventure!
If you haven’t heard how excited we are, Joanna Gaines has been busy working on a new line of rugs for Magnolia Home, and we’re getting our hands on everything we can get! Her unique patterns, fringed edges have endless possibilities as the spot light in your home.
And no, she hasn’t just tackled rugs. Can we all just bask in the glory of this amazing velvet couch?
And yes, we couldn’t ask for a more inspirational woman to work with–introducing the incredibly passionate, colorful, and beautiful designer Justina Blakeney and her Jungalow Collection!
These bright and colorful designs are going to make your space pop! Like this amazing peacock chair!
We are excited to embark on a new journey with a new store. Come visit us at our two locations!
The new warehouse: 825 NW Davis St.
Current Location: 217 SE Taylor St.
If you’re not in Portland, we still want you to be apart of our City Home family! Find us on instagram at @CityHomePDX or Facebook @CityHomePDX, we’d love to hear from you!
Now if we could only decide on exactly what amazing pieces to put in our new store
